Karl has recently been named as the Chief Operating Officer of mfgGate.com,
an online B2B exchange targeting the manufacturing community, where
he enables manufacturers with the tools and opportunities to succeed
in the rapidly growing Internet economy.
He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988 with a Bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has consulted professionally
for manufacturers and businesses large and small for 10 years. His
technical education blends well with his speaking abilities, enhancing
his ability to present complex ideas in an understandable and fun
manner
Karl is the author of the Kallisti book Getting Connecting
Through Exceptional Leadership, part of the Connecting Through...
series of books on communication. He authored the Selling Solutions
audiotape program (Karl sounds great on tape), which has 5 star
ratings on Amazon.com, Borders.com, and BarnesandNoble.com. He is
a former syndicated columnist and frequent contributor on communications
topics in various publications around the country.
Karl is a professional member of the National Speaker's Association
(NSA) and has attained the status of Able Toastmaster (ATM) from
Toastmaster’s International, a worldwide public speaking development
organization. He has also competed and won multiple speech contests
within that organization, rising to the Pennsylvania district level
championship.
