5. Human Resource Focus - 85 points
The Human Resource Focus Category examines how the organization's work systems and employee learning and motivation enable employees to develop and utilize their full potential in alignment with the organization's overall objectives and action plans. Also examined are the organization's efforts to build and maintain a work environment and an employee support climate conducive to perform excellence and to personal and organizational growth.

5.1 Work Systems (35 points)
How the organization's work and jobs enable employees and the organization to achieve high performance. And how compensation, career progression and related workforce practices enable employees and the organization to achieve high performance.
5.2 Employee Learning and Motivation (25 points)
How the organization's employee education, training and career development support the achievement of the overall objectives and contribute to high performance. Also describe how the organization's education, training and career development build employee knowledge, skills and capabilities.
5.3 Employee Well-Being and Satisfaction (25 points)
How the organization maintains a work environment and an employee support climate that contribute to the well-being, satisfaction and motivation of all employees.
